I gather from RiderWiki that the references to past Riders in the first couple of arcs are really specific - like, there's a bit with a Rider from Ex-Aid overlapping with something from OOO where you need to know Ex-Aid pretty well to fully grasp.

Frankly, I'm really just in it for the DCD and Ryuki stuff. :)
